Before Friday, I only had one NYX nail polish in my collection – Jungle Green. And it’s been on my list of untrieds forever and ever.
That changed last week when Sol surprised me with these two beauties.
Sol knows my taste in polish so well – she knows I cannot resist teal and gray.
Sol’s online store has been selling NYX cosmetics for a while now (I am crazy about NYX’s lip cream – but I will save that story for another post). This week, she had exciting news – she finally started selling NYX nail polish.
I swatched both colors the very next day and was surprised at how great the formula is. I’m so glad I’ve found another brand to love.
This is NYX Girls Perfect Gray.
It is a perfect gray.
When I saw the color on my nails, my first thought was “Oh my god, I want a sweater in this color.”
And I don’t even wear sweaters.
Perfect Gray’s formula is super smooth and creamy.
This was three coats.
I didn’t mind the multiple coats though because application was flawless and hassle-free.
So pretty.
Beautiful color, perfect application. That’s gonna be hard to top, I thought.
But here’s NYX Girls Algae.
But there’s nothing slimy about this color.
It’s a pretty teal.
Once again, flawless application.
And I just needed two coats for full opacity.
Love, love, love.
I just heard that Sol’s stocks of Algae just ran out but she still has the following colors: Ink Heart, Shimmer, Roxy, Fig, Sunday Afternoon, Between Mauve and Purple, Pure Red Pearl, Chocolate Taupe, Royal Purple, The Taupe, Fierce Purple, Sexy Plum, Purple Noir, Woman, Dark Beige, Sweetest Pink, Sandals, Robotic, Smoldering, Saved by the Pink, Grape Fruit, Complex Purple, Dynamic Glitter, Roots, Girly, Buzz Worthy, Frizzy Spots, Enchanted Forest, Fire Amber, Grand Royal, Dreamy Glitter Spot Light, Super Funk, Aqua Glitter, Perfect Gray, Dark Gray.
And the best part? It’s crazy affordable. Digital Traincase sells NYX Girls polish for just P150 each. Digital Traincase is at the Rockwell Urban Bazaar today if you want to check them out. You can also order through the website.
