INVESTIGATION: Posh Nails

My trusted manicurist can be hard to track down sometimes.

During one of those weeks she was missing in action, I headed for Posh Nails in Tomas Morato.

I walked into an explosion of pink – it was as if Elle Woods had designed the place. But I like pink and purple so I had no problem getting comfortable.

The place was quiet, I had practically the whole salon to myself because I went in the afternoon. I was told Posh Nails gets busy after office hours.

I didn’t have a lot of time to spare so I went for the Posh Grooming service which is their basic manicure and pedicure.

Anita, my nail technician was nice and pleasant. We didn’t talk much though because I was busy with my laptop.

They had a mix of Orly and OPI and some bottles of Elianto and Sally Hansen. I chose Orly Haute Red and loved it.

Here’s the lowdown on my Posh Nails experience:

The GOOD:

The rates were good – I paid P365 for both hands and feet and just added a tip.

Anita did a good job. I liked how she shaped my nails, I love how clean my manicure looked.

The basic grooming service included a quick massage – five minutes for the feet, five minutes for the hand and the massage was good.

THE BAD: It took a while before we could get started which was strange, considering that there were a lot of nail technicians just hanging out at the back room.

The PRETTY:

Here’s a tip – check out Posh Nails’ nail goody cabinet. I was able to score some bottles from the China Glaze Bahama Blues and China Glaze OMG! collections – they were P280 each. The last time I was there, I also saw a couple of Sparituals and some Essie top coats.
